Currently, the 2012-2013 Student Government Executive Board is accepting applications for Cabinet Appointments for the next academic year. If you are interested in joining Student Government, applying for a position is one of the best way to get involved.

Student Government has something for everyone:

• If you have a passion for advocacy and want to work to improve the American University undergraduate experience, check out open positions in the President’s Cabinet.
• If you are interested in programming to help plan and execute fun events, political speakers, and concerts, view positions in the Vice President’s Cabinet.
• If you enjoy communications and outreach and want to gain valuable experience with PR, Graphic Design, or Web Development, the Secretary’s Cabinet is for you.
• If you want to help with student services like AUTO and Bike Lending or have a knack for finance, accounting, and number crunching, look no further than the Comptroller’s Cabinet.
